Grand Opening in the North End
Wednesday, June 23rd, 2010

Benevento’s Original Brick Oven Kitchen & Bar Grand Opening is taking place on Wednesday, June 23rd, 2010.  Joe Bono, proprietor of the next-door Italian eatery, Al Dente, will be celebrating the opening of his second restaurant in the North End.

Nestled in the heart of Boston’s Italian North End, Benevento’s Original Brick Oven Kitchen & Bar sets itself apart with homemade pasta and sauces, family recipe meatballs, specialty pizzas, and a unique atmosphere. The restaurant’s contemporary design and old-world Italian ambience complement Benevento’s enticing menu, replete with a variety of flavors, so there is sure to be a meal to please everyone in the family.

Craving a classic brick oven pizza? The signature Benevento pizza is a savory combination of caramelized onions, roasted peppers, eggplant, ricotta cheese, tomato sauce, and mozzarella on a thin, crisp crust.  In addition to the chef’s imaginative creations, there’s the option to create a personalized pizza from a large selection of sauces, toppings, and white or wheat gourmet thin crust.  Complete the meal with a taste of homemade limoncello.

Benevento’s signature appetizer dishes are Shrimp Grand Marnier and Spinach Crepes.  The innovative presentation of the pasta selection allows diners to mix and match their favorite pasta with an array of flavorful sauces, ensuring a satisfying experience for even the most discriminating tastes. Benevento’s offers the unique opportunity to have both a cozy family meal, and a place to enjoy a Peroni and Red Sox game or World Cup match on one of the six flat screens outfitting the full marble bar. 1. I just walked by there – it looks like the restaurant has blocked off half the street in front of the restaurant for their outside dining area.
