The movie production for “What’s Your Number?” is coming to the North End with filming planned for Wednesday May 26th and Thursday, May 27th from 10am to 2am. Parking and traffic will be impacted on several North End streets, including Salem, Prince, Cross, Cooper, N. Margin, Parmenter and Bartlett Place. So far, there is no word about replacement parking as there was during last year’s filming of “The Town.”
North End resident and NEWNC member Ryan Kenny, sends in this notice that has been posted in several North End buildings.
“What’s Your Number?” will be starring Anna Faris (“House Bunny”, “Scary Movie”), Chris Evans (“Not Another Teen Movie”), Andy Samberg (Saturday Night Live), Joel McHale, Dave Annable and Zachary Quinto (Spock from the new “Star Trek”). Mark Mylod, from “HBO’s Entourage”, is directing the film.
The film is based on Karyn Bosnak’s book “20 Times a Lady” about a young woman who, with the aid of her womanizing next door neighbor, decides to re-visit all her ex-boyfriends in the hopes of finding the man of her dreams.
Loaded Gun reports the movie will, “showcase Beantown in all of its glory, with one insider saying it will be a “two-hour postcard” that will focus on some our city’s swankier locales.” Filming is also scheduled in Back Bay (Newbury & Clarendon), the W Hotel (Stuart St.) and the Financial District (Sanctuary on State Street).
And why didn’t they come before one or both neighborhood groups to present this and allow people to ask for replacement parking etc?
