Thank you friends and neighbors for all your support this past
weekend. The Friends of the NE Branch Library Book Sale was a great
success! Thanks to those who volunteered their time – before the sale
(sorting and organizing books, putting up posters, working on
advertising), during the sale (selling and helping with those
donations) and helping to clean up (I’m especially talking to all you
Dad’s who moved all those book boxes and tables for us).
Every penny helps to keep our North End Branch thriving! Please make
sure you visit this summer and check out lots of books or attend the
wide variety of programs being offered. The Children’s Summer Reading
Program will be kicking off in late June so watch the June calendar
for the date and get your kids signed up! The Chess Club will meet
this summer as well There is no better way to help your library than
to participate and be active.
