District 1 City Councilor Sal LaMattina filed an order this week for a hearing regarding the placement of satellite TV dishes, antennas and receivers on residential and commercial properties throughout the City of Boston. The order cites “visual dissatisfaction” and “concerns over the blight caused by satellite dish installations” while recognizing Federal law prohibits cities and towns from restricting satellite dishes.
