Zoning and Licensing Applications

7:00 PM – 7:15 PM
Caffe Graffiti, 64 Cross Street, Luigi DeMarco, has applied to the Licensing Board to amend the restaurant’s existing malt and wine with cordials license to add outdoor patio service.

7:15 PM – 7:30 PM
221-227 Commercial Street, Kevin Curry has applied for a variance from the Boston Zoning Code to include an existing ATM machine in the description of allowed uses of the property at the corner of Commercial Street and Atlantic Avenue. Currently allowed uses include one-bay car wash, gas and service station, and drop off/pick up laundry.  The Board of Appeal is scheduled to hear this appeal on May 25, 2010.

7:30 PM – 7:45 PM
115A Salem Street, Sapori Di Napoli, Inc. (Giovanni Grimaldi, Manager), has applied to the Licensing Board for the City of Boston to add liqueurs to the existing malt and wine license for this café.

BRA Greenway District Planning Study
7:45 PM – 8:15 PM
The Committee will discuss the BRA’s draft development guidelines for the Rose Kennedy Greenway corridor, which the BRA presented at a March 18 public meeting.  The draft guidelines address height and density ranges, building uses, and environmental impacts, and apply to Cross Street parcels along the North End Parks, the Harbor Garage and Government Center redevelopment parcels and other potential development sites along the Greenway.

Cross Street Sidewalk Changes
8:15 PM – 8:45 PM
The Committee will discuss the preliminary plans presented by the Boston Transportation Department (BTD) for changes to traffic, parking, pedestrian and business uses along the two Cross Street sidewalk plazas between Hanover Street and Endicott Street and formulate a plan for providing community input and working with BTD and elected officials to help shape a recommended plan.
