Attempted Robbery/Firearm

Victim reports while walking on Fulton St. with her husband, a male suspect confronted them and demanded the husband’s wallet. At this time the victims attempted to leave the area when the suspect pulled out a black handgun and fired it into the brick sidewalk then fled on foot. A bullet fragment penetrated the female victim heel of her shoe causing a superficial wound. Victim was treated at the scene. Detectives to follow up on this incident.
