It is time again for North End Against Drugs Annual Community Service Awards. Everyone knows someone who volunteers, donates or otherwise helps out in the North End to make it a better place for everyone to live, play and work. Take a few minutes to nominate the special person, business or group. The deadline is Monday 10/26 at 6pm.

The form can be printed out and mailed and/or dropped off at the Nazzaro Center (put in NEAD mailbox) or faxed to 617-635-5053.
Here are the nomination categories:
Andy Puopolo Youth Award – To a resident 18 or under who has made our community a better place to live.
Barbara DeCristoforo Senior Award – To a resident 55 or older who has made our community a better place to live.
Walter Salvi NSTAR Business Award – To a business that supports and enhances the quality of life in our community.
Alumnus Award – To a former resident whose actions still enhance the quality of life in our community and hasn’t forgotten where they came from.
Emily Pugliano Public Servant Award – To a person who performs service within their job description, but goes above and beyond to make our community a better place.
Fred Carangelo Organization Award – To a North End/ Waterfront based group that primarily serves our community and whose goals are directed to the betterment of our community.
John Dexter Unsung Hero Award – To a resident whose deeds, which are not part of their regular job, within our community have for the most part gone unnoticed but results in the enhancement of the quality of life in our community
