Southie Church Fire [Photos]

The Albanian Orthodox Church of St. John caught fire on Wednesday morning in South Boston engulfing the area in smoke and unfortunately, causing a potential collapse of the iconic building. According to Boston Fire, there were no injuries but firefighters had to evacuate the interior after a ceiling collapse. It is out of our coverage area, but North Ender, Chuck Sether nearby and captured these stunning images.

A fire at the U.S. Coast Guard station on Commercial Street was responded to and “knocked down” by Boston Fire Department on Tuesday morning. Smoke was seen throughout downtown and from East Boston. Fire Returns to Hanover Street Building at Il Panino Trattoria

Just over a year after a tragic fire at the same building of 280-282 Hanover St., a fire broke out in the kitchen ceiling of Il Panino Trattoria around 6pm on Saturday night.
