North End Waterfront Health provides comprehensive care for children, adolescents, adults, and seniors in one convenient location. Established in 1971, NEWH was the first Italian-American health center in the United States and was among the first community health centers to receive Joint Commission accreditation. As an affiliate of Massachusetts General Hospital, the health center extends the hospital’s world-renowned healthcare services to people who live and work in and around Boston’s North End and Waterfront neighborhoods.
