6:30pm Finding Dory Movie at Faneuil Hall Marketplace Quincy Market Lower Rotunda. Faneuil Hall Marketplace, a historic landmark, will be transformed into a movie theatre where families can come and enjoy a free movie and special discounted snacks and dinner options in the Colonnade. More information.

3:00pm Chefs in the Making at Boston Harbor Hotel, Rowes Wharf. For School Vacation Week, the Boston Harbor Hotel is offering kids the chance to learn with two hotel chefs (and Dads!) at a special “Chefs in the Making” for a fun, educational afternoon of cooking! Reserve Tickets: $50.

6:30pm Opening Reception for New York Streets Project at West End Museum. Prior to the demolition of Boston’s old West End, another vibrant, multi-ethnic neighborhood of tenement houses and mom-and-pop shops fell victim to so-called ‘urban renewal.’ West End Museum is located at 150 Staniford St, Boston – more information.

1:30pm Hansel and Gretel with Boston Lyric Opera at West End Library. Join Boston Lyric Opera to learn how we bring the story of Hansel and Gretel to life through music, acting, and movement.
