Neighborhood Move: Lulu’s Sweet Shoppe Travels to Parmenter Street

Lulu’s Sweet Shoppe has moved to a new storefront at 28 Parmenter Street in Boston’s North End, in the space formerly occupied by Cocoanuts.

Owner Sandy Russo is a longtime North End resident and is very excited to bring her famous homemade cupcakes to a larger space with counter seats and plenty of candy, cookies and ice cream too!

The shop comes all the way from around the corner at Salem Street, where a the new Polka Dog Bakery will be opening soon.

And there’s more! Sandy is just weeks away from opening Lulu’s Kitchen, a new cafe on upper Hanover Street at Haymarket.

  1. This couldn’t have happened to a nicer woman! She gives back to the North End for fundraisers, to the schools, etc. Very generous person! Best of Luck Sandy!!! Love your cupcakes and ice cream.

  2. Congratulations to Sandy… she has always been extremely generous to the neighborhood especially to our beloved Nazzaro Center…best of luck Sandy….xoxo
