Thank you to all our parents, players and coaching staff for making the 2014-2015 North End Introduction Hockey program a huge success! All of our players worked extremely hard during the 16 week program and I was particularly impressed as to the level of improvement each week. I am honored to be apart of such an amazing program and hope next year is even bigger and better.
In addition, congratulations to our Mite team who did an outstanding job competing each Sunday against Charlestown Youth Hockey. Although the program is geared to teaching our kids the fundamentals of ice hockey, the most important aspect is having fun and that is what we all did throughout the hockey season.
Special thanks to our elected officials, Sen. Anthony Petruccelli, State Rep. Aaron Michlewitz and City Councilor Sal LaMattina, as well as, the Boston Bruins, North End Athletic Association, Mike’s Pastry, Star Market, Filippo’s Restaurant, Sports Magic and Geico Insurance for their generosity and continued support.
At the annual banquet, North End Youth Hockey players were excited to have a surprise visit from several Boston Bruins players!
