Bike Lanes on North Washington and Cross Streets

Nicole Freedman, Director of Bicycle Programs, will present the City’s plans to add bicycle lanes to North Washington and Cross streets, and will answer questions from residents.
NEWRA Comments on the Boston Garden Project
7:30 PM – 7:55 PM
Review of NEWRA’s draft comment letter and consideration of additional comments on the major development project proposed in front of Boston Garden on Causeway Street. Public comments on the developer’s Expanded Project Notification Form (EPNF) must be submitted to the Boston Redevelopment Authority (BRA) by October 24, 2013.
NEWRA Comments on the Government Center Garage Project
7:55 PM – 8:20 PM
Review of NEWRA’s draft comment letter and consideration of additional comments on the major development project that proposes to replace most of the Government Center Garage. Public comments on the developer’s Draft Project Impact Report must be submitted to the BRA by November 6, 2013.
Annual Meeting and Election of NEWRA Officers
8:20 PM – 8:50 PM
1. Issues and accomplishments in the past year and an eye to the year ahead.
2. Annual Election of Officers – The Nominating Committee nominates and recommends the following members for election as officers of NEWRA for the 2013-14 one-year term:
President: Jim Salini, Charter Street (for a second and last term)
Vice President: Ford Cavallari, Battery Street
Treasurer: Nicole Rafter, Prince Street
Secretary: Elizabeth Ghiseline, North Square
Sergeant at Arms: Ed Rice, Snowhill Street
Nominations will also be accepted from the floor.
3. Light refreshments and conversation to cap off another successful NEWRA year.
