The North End Waterfront Heath & Beauty Alliance put on the inaugural NEWHBA-Fest at Christopher Columbus Park on Saturday, June 22, 2013. Joined by the Friends of Christopher Columbus Park (FOCCP), a full day of planned activities delighted young and old by bringing good health, physical fitness and beauty to the downtown Boston community. Some of the highlights included free exercise classes on the park lawn, entertainment by local bands and lifestyle consultations with NEWHBA members. The stage line-up featured Hadrian’s Heroes, Charlotte Locke, Versa Mynor, The Whyte Trash, KidCash, The Vital Might and Colin Isotti. Local health and beauty businesses participated in the event including HordoN HEALTH, Koukla Salon, The Boston Sports Institutes, Twilight Boutique, in-jean-ius, Sound Shapes, Lisa Chen representing doTERRA essential Oils, Mary Kinneavy of Boston Acupuncture Oasis, and Bodywaves Therapeutic Massage. Sponsors and supporters included Izze Sparkling Juice, Zico Coconut Water and Ali Baldassare from Move SWEAT Love with Ali.
