It was a banner day for the annual book sale, held by the Friends of the North End Branch Library. There was a deal for everyone with $1 paperbacks and $2 for hardcover books, plus plenty of CDs, Audiobooks and DVDs. Tables of categorized books lined the sidewalk on Parmenter Street with more selections inside the North End Library. The event was held on a sunny Saturday afternoon, May 18, 2013.
