Dodecahedron Sculpture Reconfigured at Armenian Heritage Park [Before & After]

Photos: The Abstract Dodecahedron Sculpture, before and after its reconfiguration.

The Abstract Sculpture, a split dodecahedron, at the Armenian Heritage Park on the Greenway was reconfigured on Sunday morning, April 7, 2013. The reconfiguration is the first time the sculpture has been changed since the park was dedicated in May 2012.

The sculpture and its annual reconfiguration celebrates the immigrant experience – symbolic of all who were pulled apart from their country of origin and came to these Massachusetts shores, establishing themselves in new and different ways.

Shown below are before and after photos of the sculpture as seen from the center of the park enjoyed by labyrinth walkers.

  1. Matt, thank you for getting up early Sunday morning, so we sleepyheads can see the comparison. Fantastic.
