The annual North End Athletic Association (NEAA) Majors Banquet was held on March 3rd at Filippo’s Ristorante. Players from the 2012 Major League season attended along with their families. Each player received at least one trophy as recognition for their contribution to the team for the season.

During the NEAA season, the St. Agrippina Cardinals won the 2012 NEAA little league championship winning all their games. The Majors teams include the San Antonio Indians (Head coach Al Vilar with assistant coaches Tim Shea, Mike Azulc & Bill Woods), Regional Review Cubs (Head Coach Dan Shea with assistant coaches Chris Troiano & Dom Campochiaro), Tomasone Club Tigers (Head coach Dom Dicenso) and the St. Agrippina Cardinals (Head coach John Pezzuto with assistant coaches Ralph Indrisano & Vincent Santaniello).

Also at the banquet were members and coaches for the NEAA All-Stars, Mayor’s Cup, Suburban Team, North 2 South and Team Italy. The NEAA is led by President Dom Campochiaro, Sports Coordinator John Romano and Commissioner Ralph Martignetti.

NEAA thanks Filippo’s Ristorante for their generous help in making the banquet affordable and for the great food.  A thank you to Rep. Aaron Michlewitz and City Councilor Felix Arroyo who stopped by to wish the players and their family congratulations for a great year.

Most of all, the NEAA offers a special thank you the coaches, assistant coaches, directors and volunteers who did all the hard work on the field to make the season great for the players. Lastly, a reminder that baseball registration is ongoing at neaabaseball.org.
