An apparent domestic incident between a couple resulted in a woman allegedly stabbing a man inside 16 Cleveland Place early Wednesday evening.

The victim was seen being transported to Massachusetts General Hospital. A middle-aged woman was later escorted out of the building by Boston Police, according to neighbors.

Although it appeared to be a domestic incident, it was a different apartment from where a domestic assault took place in the same building last week.

Later that evening, a police car remained outside the residence on the narrow, pedestrian street between Snow Hill and Margaret Streets in Boston’s North End.
