It was a great day for hugging. Just ask the Dasaro family as they set up the North End “Hug” station on Salem Street this past weekend. In the end, the huggers gave out about 200 hugs, passed out 120 flyers, 15 ‘hug me’ t-shirts to North End families and raised $85 for City School. “All and all, a pretty good day,” Jeanne Dasaro sums up.
