The 2012 Saint Joseph Feast Grand Procession was held on Sunday, July 29th for seven hours through the streets of the North End. After a Saturday night washout at the feast, the weather held out for the procession that covered nearly every block in the neighborhood and where residents and businesses dressed the statue with ribbons of money. Accompanying Societa San Giuseppe di Riesi (Saint Joseph Society of Riesi Sicily) were the North End Marching Band and the Northeast Italian-American Band.
A video highlight is when St. Joseph and the bands go inside Pizzeria Regina and the Waterfront Cafe to play for the customers!

the feast was great.
Early in the 1970s, the feast was a magical time of year! I miss the close net families and friends of the community of the North End.
