Discarded Cigarette From Rooftop Starts Fire at 16 Parmenter Street

Boston Fire responded to a roof deck fire at 12:18 pm today at 16 Parmenter St., next to Pagliuca’s Restaurant. A person admitted smoking and discarding a cigarette on the roof of the four story building. Estimated damages are $250,000. No injuries were reported. Photos by Bill Lane.
