The grand opening of Benevento’s Original Brick Oven Kitchen & Bar drew a large crowd on Wednesday night. Joe Bono hosted the event on Salem Street at the new casual dining spot next to Al Dente, his other long-time North End restaurant. Guests sampled the many varieties of brick oven pizza and Joe’s mother brought out her famous baked goods for the occasion. The inside of Benevento’s features dining tables, a brick oven, marble bar and six flat screen TVs. The pictures below capture the event festivities (click the photos to enlarge).
